Hi, I'm Marie!

I built a successful legal career by doing everything “right.” I was capable, driven, respected, and always available. And still, my body never shut off. Even when work was done, I stayed tense. 
My mind kept scanning. Rest felt uncomfortable. Being present took effort. 

From the outside, I looked successful.
